Helping to bridge the gap for out-of-school children, the Mitsubishi-supported KADAM – The Step Up Centre in Manesar, Haryana, recently held a bag distribution ceremony for the 100 children attending the Centre.

The multi-purpose bags also work as a makeshift writing support for the students, and are of immense importance when desks and writing tables are not available in the classrooms. For out-of-school children undergoing a bridge education programme, such bags clearly hold special value.

The bright new bags matched the scintillating smiles of the children and of their proud parents, who attended the ceremony.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Manager - F&A and Ms. Divya Chutani, Sr. Executive - HR & Admin, Mitsubishi, gifted the bags to the students. The event came to an end with a small motivational speech by the guests.

Humana People to People India is a development organization registered as a not-for-profit company under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 as of 21st May 1998. It is a non-political, non-religious organization. Its mission is to unite with people in India in order to create development in the broadest sense through the implementation of the projects that aim at transferring knowledge, skills and capacity to individuals and communities who need assistance to come out of poverty and other dehumanizing conditions.
