Helping to bridge the gap for out-of-school children, the Mitsubishi-supported KADAM – The Step Up Centre in Manesar, Haryana, recently held a bag distribution ceremony for the 100 children attending the Centre.

The multi-purpose bags also work as a makeshift writing support for the students, and are of immense importance when desks and writing tables are not available in the classrooms. For out-of-school children undergoing a bridge education programme, such bags clearly hold special value.

The bright new bags matched the scintillating smiles of the children and of their proud parents, who attended the ceremony.

Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Manager - F&A and Ms. Divya Chutani, Sr. Executive - HR & Admin, Mitsubishi, gifted the bags to the students. The event came to an end with a small motivational speech by the guests.
